While rum prices are marginally cheaper in a supermarket outside the city, you won't get expert service or range. This Havana Vieja shop - attached to the Museo del Ron - is the best-stocked stop for all your rum needs.

Bottles start at CUC 3 for Havana Club Blanco, covering every manifestation of Havana Club in the world. The small selection of cigars here are also cheaper than in most shops in the old town. If you can't wait until you get home to sample the goods, head to the Havana Club bar next door.
