Named after the serious German playwright, the action that goes on in the bar below this art-house theatre is far from sober. Live performances - and the excellent sound system - get the crowd kicking back the tables and chairs to dance, none more so than the bi-monthly Wednesday-night show by Qua Libre, a 10-piece jazz-rock-reggaton-funk fusion band that are fun epitomized.

The separate bar area harks back to a fifties American diner with red curved bar, high stools and leather banquettes. Shows usually start late, and the venue doubles as a go-to bar for after hours drinking.
