Word to the wise: Drop into The Old Hairdresser's facing Stereo; an independent arts space complete with an intimate cafe-bar.

Having relocated from its much-loved West End location (which, coincidentally, is home to one of Stereo's sister ventures 'The 78'), Stereo now occupies a distinctive Mackintosh building, stealthily hidden in a City Centre alleyway.

A vegan cafe/bar/live venue with undeniable indie leanings, the bar spreads itself over two floors with a bright, warehouse-style bar space up top and an industrial, bare-walled gig venue downstairs. Organic beers, wines and ciders are the order of the day here, expertly poured by bar staff whose bands are most likely to be playing downstairs later that evening.
