The park of all parks
This is all a French park should be: immaculately kept with sculpted gardens and swarming with chic Parisians of all ages looking for a tranquil respite from city life.
Bordered by the lively merchant streets of the Latin Quarter, the 60-acre park offers a wealth of amenities, as well as the chance to promenade along the tree-lined pathways admiring the flower arrangements. There's the impressive Palais du Luxembourg and Médicis Fountain, as well as the Musée du Luxembourg. During the summer months free art exhibits are hosted in the L’Orangerie, and live concerts in the music square, or challenge the locals to a game of boules.
