The Surry Hills version of Keystone's original Wine Garden makes wine fun, friendly and unpretentious. By-the-glass options range from "slurpable" to "mysterious" and "unpronounceable" while the food - and décor - is an equally intrepid experience.

Diners linger on the wrought-iron balcony, in the lush garden area and in the lavish, taxidermy-heavy interior working their way through fresh breads and charcuterie plates, delicately prepared seafood dishes and generous servings of timeless favorites with an unexpectedly elegant edge.

The kitchen closes at around midnight, though anyone arriving after around 9pm will have to fight for a spot at the crowded bar.
