It's a decidedly more casual affair than Aria, TV chef Matt Moran's harbourside fine dining icon, but Chiswick already has the hallmark of a foodie institution. With a menu designed around offerings from the on-site veggie patch - which the bright, glasshouse-inspired dining room opens onto - the fare is super-fresh, from the crunchy salads to simply-prepared seafood and hand-cut chips.

If you can't snag a reservation, try your luck at the bar - they don't take bookings for this area, and you can order anything off the main menu from your stool.
