This is Kuala Lumpur at its busiest and loudest. From the early afternoon until the wee small hours, the street is crammed with locals and visitors inspecting traditional Chinese herbs, fabrics and clothes, and bartering hard for pirated designer goods and fake DVDs. The prices here aren't nailed down so negotiate for anything that catches your eye.

This market is also a great place to sample the variety of cuisine on offer in Malaysia. Food stalls and restaurants line the street serving up everything from barbecued fish and curry noodles to Chinese pastries.
