Famous for its indigenous preparation of ‘Bamboo Mutton’ and a paradise for non-vegetarians, this place is located on the Chandaka Nandankanan Road, quite far away from the city limits. Small pieces of mutton is cooked inside a 3–4 ft bamboo stem and simmered in tandoor. The succulent meat carries a burnt flavour which provides the earthy smokiness to the dish. It’s one of the most popular and sought after preparations in Bhubaneswar and tourists from neighbouring states also make it a point to visit Jungle View once to taste this quirky preparation. It has a casual sit down service with a few AC cabins in its premises. The pretentious dhaba like setting with table umbrellas, plastic tables, chairs and questionable cleanliness doesn’t complement the ethnic non-veg Odia delicacies that the place serves. Other notable dishes here are the bamboo chicken, prawn Poda (Burnt Prawn) and egg bhurji.
