Affordable accommodation in Venice doesn’t always mean having to stay a distance away from the city hubs; if you would rather avoid a boat or bus ride to access Venice and be in the heart of the action then Ostello Santa Fosca, located at some 15 minutes from the Piazzale Roma and the Rialto Bridge, is a great, budget-friendly option.
Ostello Santa Fosca has mixed and female dorms and also some twin rooms and is a good place to socialize with other travellers. Rates start at 15 Euros per person per night; the property offers a wide range of amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, comfy beds and beautiful garden. The hostel is very clean, but do note that most of the bathrooms are shared except in some twin rooms.
