The Galleria dell’Accademia is home to one of the finest art collections in Venice. Inside, you can admire the limitless genius of Leonardo da Vinci, Hieronymus Bosch, Canaletto and other great minds of art that gifted our world with priceless works of art between the Middle Ages and the 18th century. The Venetian Accademia displays a wide range of revolutionary showpieces that immortalized their creators (da Vinci), and some which marked out their authors for irreverence in the high circles of the Inquisition (Veronese).

There’s so much to see in the Galleria dell’Accademia that you should allow plenty of time for your visit, but if you are short on time then don’t miss the masterpieces including Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, Bosch’s Martyrdom of St. Liberata, Veronese’s Feast in the House of Levi, Giovanni Bellini’s San Giobbe Altarpiece and Carpaccio’s Legend of St. Ursula.
