One of the leading clubs of Zurich, Hive is a pricey address that is a mecca for party enthusiasts. The dress code is casual, the ambience is lively and the music very loud. There are two dance floors one of which is dedicated to electronic and house numbers while the other belts out indie and lounge beats. This party destination is open till 9 am in the morning and visitors are usually so pumped up that they can dance right up to this hour. The drinks are basic but expensive and it is imperative to pay by cash since cards are accepted only when you buy beverages that cost more than 50 Euros.
The long queues outside the disco are proof of its popularity despite the cover charge being a staggering 30 CHF. Student IDs are surprisingly accepted and you can score a discount with the same. Head over to Hive if you are looking to make memories. The Escher-Wyss-Platz tram stop is the closest to the club.
