A centrally located club that is almost like an institution in Zurich, Kaufleuten is perpetually busy and is a great venue to catch up with friends. Local DJs play captivating house music while the staff makes sure you have excellent drinks to sip on. Since the ceilings are high and the dance floor is massive, this place never really feels cramped. If you cannot stand the smoke, the club has a separate non-smoking area that has a dedicated DJ console and dance floor. For those who are tired of partying, the premises has a restaurant of its own that serves excellent local cuisine. There is also a lounge in the backyard where guests can relax and host private parties. Bookings need to be made in advance on Kaufleuten’s website for the same.
With an entry fee of 35 CHF and drinks that could cost you anything around 50 CHF, Kaufleuten is an expensive nightclub. However, you are paying for the experience at the end of the day. The salsa nights on Sundays, however, are a lot cheaper (around 10 CHF) and good fun.
