If every music venue was as vibrant, creative and energetic as The Empire, the world would be a more buzzing place. With its beginnings as a Victorian era church, it’s acoustically flawless and visually compelling. Renowned acts with assorted musical leanings have been attracted to perform here. Sigur Ros played here as a support band to Snow Patrol in 2000. Today you’ll find everything—from blues to rock to jazz to comedy. Head also to the Empire Bar for a beer, some hearty-eats and for a feel of the throbbing-energy that characterizes the city.
