This city centre restaurant, with its extensive food and wine list, in a contemporary dining environment, ticks all the boxes. Opened in 2003 by chef Niall McKenna, it is where you go when you want classic cuisine to meet locally-sourced produce. Not solely a matter of consumption, but artistry as well—everything arrives beautifully plated. And as you settle on the Taste of Ulster Tasting Menu and move between the Confit Rabbit Leg and the Grilled Stonebass with spiced butter and roasted fennel, you would wish you had worn pants with the wide elastic waistband.
