Resham is an avid propagandist of travel, and is waiting to turn her dreams of touring offbeat lands come true. In a world where peace is a rare commodity that even money can’t buy, for her, an ideal trip means heading to the incredible Indian hills.

Kyoto’s best Indian restaurant boasts of vegan food, a spiritual owner, divine desserts and curries, and perhaps a nice place to attend free meditation classes on Saturdays offered by the owner herself. A devotee and disciple of the Indian spiritual Master Sri Chinmoy, Sujata took it upon herself to practice what her Master preached – meditating and opening vegetarian restaurants. The eatery is more or less single-handedly run by Sujata, and she does so with amazing deftness. On the menu, you’ll find culinary gems, both Indian and Japanese. Oh, and while you are crate-digging, don’t forget to sample the home-styled samosas, a popular Indian street snack, which is way different and better from its other equivalents served in the country.
