It is one of the largest barrier reefs in the world and any diver that comes to Fiji should head here for an experience of a lifetime. The reef actually encompasses Kadavu Island, Ono Island and other small islands. Kadavu is actually one of the least visited islands in Fiji and therefore the coral life here is pristine, leading to an abundance of marine life. There are about six different dive sites throughout the reef and where you will dive will depend on what you are interested in. There are plenty of tunnels and caves to explore, colorful coral, tons of different types of fish, manta rays and even a shipwreck. Your level of diving will also decide which sites you can visit, but you can be very sure that you will never be disappointed.
