The neighbourhood of Montmartre in Paris is one of its kinds with various shops and numerous artists. Situated at the top of the Montmartre Hill is the huge, white-domed Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. This church is as big on the inside as it is on the outside. One can simply lit a candle and offer their prayers. The view of the entire city from the top of the hill is quite mesmerising. One can simply sit on the stairs leading up to the church and absorb the distinctive Parisian atmosphere. Outside there are several artists who display their artistic talent, which is actually very fascinating. The walk to the base of this hill takes you to the Boulevard de Clichy. There are several shops and bars lined up one after the other.
