It’s a well-established fact—nothing tastes better than pizza after a long day of sightseeing or an evening of drinking. Local cuisine in Dubrovnik is heavily influenced by Italian flavours. Unsurprisingly, the bylanes of Dubrovnik are heavily populated with pizzerias. But Pizzeria Tabasco offers some of the best pizzas in the city at an affordable price point. It is conveniently situated close to the base of Dubrovnik’s cable car station—perfect if you’ve just spent the afternoon exploring the old town and you are on your way to Mt. Srd. Pizza Tabasco prides itself on serving scrumptious pizzas straight from wood-fired ovens. You could step in for a bite but this is the perfect restaurant to visit if you’re ravenous. Their portion sizes are always generous but you will be shocked at the sheer size of their jumbo pizzas. It’s perfect if you’re travelling with friends or family. There are a number of traditional pizza toppings on the menu including pepperoni and ham. However, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can opt for local Croatian cheese on your pizza.
