The romance of bird-watching – there are students from around the world who reach Costa Rica and spread out for their birdwatching adventures. The most flamboyant of the birds that you can spot are Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, and the resplendent Quetzal. Other birds you may spot when on a hike are the songbird Blue-Gray Tanager, spectacular humming birds, the Northern Jacana, the Roseate Spoonbill, and the Frigate. You will spot the humming birds even at some restaurants where they have the right vine planted.
