Taverna del Campiello Remer is a traditional cosy gem located in a cute courtyard near the Rialto Bridge. The vaulted brick taverna oozes rustic old world charm with its wooden beams and exposed brick walls, and also serves excellent cicchetti (the Venetian equivalent of Spanish tapas), which is a popular buffet and an al a carte menu in a quiet hidden location beside the grand canal.

The ciccheti selection is fresh and seasonal, and therefore changes daily. There is also a good selection of wines and liqueurs, all for a very reasonable price considering the location, gorgeous views, and delicious food.

The lunch buffet at Taverna del Campiello Remer is hugely popular and of great value. It comprises of a cold and hot buffet with your choice of pasta, a small carafe of wine or soft drink, fresh fruit salad, and coffee for only €20. There is also live music every night.
