Want to have a look at art pieces? Then head towards the Städel Museum. This museum houses 2700 paintings. It also consists of a library of 400 periodicals and 100,000 books.
The museum has art talks on every second Thursday of a month. If you want an audio tour, that too can be arranged in German, French, English, and Spanish. The classes are for children, adults, company groups, and clubs. You can go around the museum at your own pace with these bookable guided tours. The deaf and visually impaired people are also facilitated by detailed spoken description. Sign language interpreters can also be booked individually.
Throughout the museum, visitors have free access to Wi-Fi. But what is perhaps more interesting is the availability of STÄDEL App. With this app, you can further enrich your experience and get background information as well as audio-guided tracks. It encompasses more than hundred works in collection.
The museum is closed on Monday. From Tuesday to Sunday, it is open from 10 am until 6 pm, while on Thursday and Friday, it is open until 9 pm.
The fee per person is EUR 14. You can also book the ticket online to walk conveniently right on the museum.
Located near the river, the museum is in close proximity to other famous places. Art lovers find this place top-notch with its art collection spanning more than 700 years. Housing a café and restaurant, the museum ensures you have a good wholesome day out, at Städel.
