Very nice and easy going fish and seafood restaurant in the heart of the Marina quarters in Cagliari, La Stella Marina di Montecristo is a favourite of Italian football star Gigi Riva who regularly dines there. Although there is a menu, the best thing to do at this restaurant is to ask for the day’s special, which will then be cooked and served fresh. A full menu which includes appetizers, a pasta dish, and a mixed fish and seafood grill, salads, dessert, drinks, and coffee costs no more than € 25. The environment is cosy and simple. Staff is informal but always kind and polite. It is an extremely popular restaurant locally, so it is advisable to make reservations, especially for dinner.
