This upscale night market offers visitors a wide variety of stores in one extremely pretty place. If you’re not keen to battle the tourists at Bangkok’s other more chaotic markets, the classy riverside setting of Asiatique provides a breath of fresh air. Strolling through the market, you’ll come across all sorts of shops selling everything from cutesy souvenirs to pricey Thai designer brands. As one of the city’s more expensive markets, Asiatique the Riverfront tends to attract a slightly older and more sophisticated clientele.

The plethora of lovely restaurants only adds to the luxurious atmosphere. You can happily spend your entire evening wandering around this large shopping area—and don’t miss the handy map by which to navigate the myriad stores. Whether you’re sipping drinks at one of its riverside bistros or buying an exquisite piece of jewellery from a local designer, there’s no end to what might catch your eye at Asiatique the Riverfront. The only thing that might add to the experience is stopping by the famous Calypso Cabaret to take in a ladyboy show!
