A love of South East Asia saw Asha leave her homeland of Australia for the hot nights and cool breezes of tropical Asia. She has been based in Cambodia for the past 4 years and travelled extensively around the world, eating, drinking and walking until it's time to eat again.

The Frangipani Living Arts Hotel & Spa is located south of the city in Toul Tom Poung area, more commonly known as the ‘Russian Market’ as many expatriate Russians used to reside or visit the area in the 1980s. The quiet suburban area is an up-and-coming community with plenty of cafes, restaurants and organisations choosing this area to settle in. Because of this, the area is abuzz with life with something new popping up around every corner. The Frangipani Living Arts Hotel & Spa is one of the only hotels in this area. Well…for now! The property is one of the larger buildings in the area which is an advantage, especially for the rooftop bar! The Frangipani Living Sky Bar is open from 5:00 pm onwards daily and offers panoramic views of Phnom Penh. They have an extensive wine list and cocktail menu along with local beer. The best part is the ‘Happy Hour’ every day from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

Depending upon preferences, guests can choose from different accommodation options, including superior room and suite. All the rooms are neat and clean with plenty of space, and also feature balconies so you can enjoy the view from the privacy of your room. Rooms have king or single bed, and some even have an adjoining room for additional space. The hotel has a great pool and spa where guests can experience an ultimate relaxed afternoon. For those looking to explore the city, the hotel offers plenty of information on attractions in and around Phnom Penh, and can even arrange for tours and day trips on request.
