What’s more, the site is home to Hyderabad Marathwada Mukti Sangram Museum. While India celebrated independence in 1947, residents of Aurangabad had to wait over a year more to join the nation. Visit this museum to learn about the freedom struggle of people from Nizam of Hyderabad and notice the paintings that recreate these incidents of courage and the spirit of self-rule. The site's proximity to the central bus stand makes it a popular picnic spot for the locals and for people from nearby towns. Occupying over thirty acres of land, these adjacent facilities, with a toy train thrown in, provide for a good day plan for both adults and kids. While the Zoo is closed on Tuesdays, Siddharth Garden remains open on all days. Plan to visit this site between 09:00 am and 08:00 pm.
