Aurangabad's tryst with Buddha continues to this day. Siddhartha Garden, named after Buddha, provides a fresh outlook to an otherwise busy part of the city. As of early 2016, the facility offered sights of elephants, sloth bears, tigers, leopards, deer, reptiles and even birds. You could also enjoy a few aquariums displaying colorful marine life. The zoo has a separate entry and you need to buy an entry ticket to tour it.

Visit this museum to learn about the freedom struggle of people from Nizam of Hyderabad and notice the paintings that recreate these incidents of courage and the spirit of self-rule. The site's proximity to the central bus stand makes it a popular picnic spot for the locals and for people from nearby towns. Occupying over thirty acres of land, these adjacent facilities, with a toy train thrown in, provide for a good day plan for both adults and kids.
