An engineer by profession, Amitabha loves roaming around the green hills of the tropics seeking occasional relief from the long Canadian winters. He brings back stories of the common people that he often shares his time with when traveling off the beaten paths of the mountains and the rural areas of many countries. To add some spices to his travel interests, Amitabha always looks for opportunities to experience some adrenaline rush from his favourite sports of skydiving, paragliding, zip-lining or even flying in microlites wherever he travels.
In the late morning, head out to Tam Coc for a lunch break followed by a serene and gentle ride in a traditional sampan along the Hoang Long River. Just relax and watch the spectacular landscape around you; you will see the farmers are working in the paddy fields those nestled in the foothills of the Ninh Binh Mountains. End the day with an afternoon tea or coffee before heading back to the hotel.
