This famous art museum displays the works of Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries. Gogh's work during his time in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris are all showcased here. There are about 1056 of his works, including portraits, still life, streets, houses and remarkable tree paintings that he has come across in his travels. His work famously influenced many of the prominent painters like Monet, Manet, Delacroix, Lhermitte, Daubigny and Millet. Hence, their work has been put up here as well. The entry fee for adults is €17 and free for those under the age of 18 years. The museum is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM and till 10 PM on Fridays. A must-visit for those in love with Gogh’s work.
