Kiran calls Mumbai home, but is never far from her next trip. Her job involves zipping across the globe, but she insists it is hard work. She has checked into ashrams, lived with strangers in Europe, and tried her hand at extreme sports in Australia, etc., all in an effort to bring you back a story. In addition to the Times Group, she has contributed to National Geographic Traveller (India), Hindustan Times, Spenta Multimedia, The Hindu etc., where she recounts her globe-trotting adventures.
Don’t miss the many shows, including the Penguin Encounter that recreates Antarctica and you get a glimpse of the penguins in their very own habitat. You can encounter sharks by stepping into a cage along with a trainer and going several feet under to feed the predators, and even become a trainer for a day by signing up for this special programme that allows you to train the dolphins with a real trainer by your side, guiding you at every step of the way. If that’s not enough, hop on a helicopter ride offered by Sea World, which provides you a bird’s-eye view of the marine park and the surrounding water bodies.
