Chinatown might be in every US city, but not every US city has a ‘Little India’. Though full of many immigrant communities, Devon is most famously known for its South Asian population, and the Desi Corner is a destination for anyone wanting to shop for some salwar kurta, grab a mehndi (henna) tattoo, or find some decent dosa. Here you’ll have no problem finding specific Indian cuisine—Mysore Woodlands and Udapi are frequently considered the best in terms of South Indian food. Check out Kamdar Market for some street food if you’re craving chaat, pani puri or bhel puri. Devon is great for shopping, and Raaz is a great choice for high-end stuff, while numerous shops dot the street for anyone just looking through.
