Leeds Town Hall was built between 1853 and 1858. The impressive building is in the very center of Leeds. While the architecture of Leeds Town Hall is impressive to say the least, this isn’t its primary attraction. The Town Hall is home to council tax offices and other such, so there isn’t much to do on the inside. However it is used as a venue for some truly impressive shows – there are stand-up comedy shows by the likes of Jimmy Carr, movie screenings, music concerts and so much more. However we suggest booking tickets in advance because they tend to get sold out really quickly.

The other aspect of Leeds Town Hall, one that escapes most tourists, is its prominence in Leeds’ cityscape. Its dome stands out when its lit in the evenings and this makes the Leeds Town Hall perfect for keen photographers, especially those who dabble in night photography. Don’t miss it!
