The main temple hall has 3 altars, each enshrining beautifully decorated deities of Gaura Nitai, Krishna Balram and Radha Shyamsundar in their most affable form. One of the best times to visit the temple is during the arti when the cadenced chants and transcendental dance by the assembled devotees rouse the beats of the soul. One can find the character of Swami Prabhupada’s teachings and contributions towards the Hare Krishna movement in the entire temple. Be it the Samadhi Mandir―where his statue sits serenely above the same place as his body is laid to rest; be it his house which is now converted into a fascinating museum; or be it the exhibition hall right at the entrance where his pictures in monochrome amuse the attention of the visitor: this is definitely a must-visit temple by all respects, if you are in Vrindavan.
