Copenhagen’s humble origins began as a fishing village and if you wish to get a feel of the past, then visit the quiet and unassuming town of Humlebaek. In a silent corner lies the restaurant Sletten which offers views of the sea and the boats that lie sleepily in the jetty. From oysters to lobsters to salmon, there is a variety of sea food served here. Watch the ocean change colours, lose yourself in the forests around and simply imbibe the quiet air around you.
