At least 300 glitter balls cover the ceiling above the dance floor, while beneath your feet a colourful 1970s dance floor flashes away, giving some indication of what Gipsy’s forte is – pure unadulterated kitsch.
Gogol has a bit of something for everyone: there's the main concert hall which is styled like a Parisian circus tent, a bunker-esque bar and a small colourful restaurant tacked on for good measure.
This club may have long since been eclipsed by the newer and hipper cutting-edge clubs of the Red October Factory area, but despite being over a decade old, this old favourite still draws the crowds.
