Noteworthy for: They roast their beans over a wood-fuelled hand-calibrated roaster that dates back to 1948.

To many, this is the best coffee shop and roasting house in Rome. Located a few hundred metres from the Pantheon, this is a good pit stop if you're ticking the city's big sights off your list. Elbow your way to the original 1930s bar like the Italians do, or - for triple the cost - take one of the six tables outside.
