There are plenty of ways to get around for those who aren’t familiar with the city—Chicago transportation is both affordable and efficient, and will definitely make your trip hassle-free. The L train and Metra services are most convenient and run around and beyond the city, but the route taken by the rail is one-way so you might have to loop all around to get to your destination. As an alternative, hailing a cab is easy, and there are several buses running to and fro. There’s even a Night Owl bus service that runs along all major routes through the night.
