The Mint Museum of Toys is a private museum that showcases a rotating collection of over 50,000 vintage toys and childhood memorabilia from the mid 19th and 20th centuries, from over 40 different countries around the world (The word MINT stands for Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys). Collected over a lifetime by local Singaporean Chang Yang Fa, this is possibly the largest private collection in the region. Many of the rare toys are one-of-a-kind, and the entire collection is believed to be worth approximately S$5-10 million in total. Located along Seah Street in the arts and heritage district, the the museum is housed within an award-winning building, specially constructed to keep out ultra-violet rays. Besides toys, you can also find a collection of Beatles memorabilia along with one of the largest collections of vintage tin boxes and enamel signs.
