Bangkok actually gets food tourists: visitors who come to the city from around the world with the sole motive of eating Thai food. And it’s a well-known fact that even fine-dining Thai restaurants around the world struggle to compete in terms of flavour, texture and authenticity even with a humble street food stall in Bangkok. There’s no end to eating out in this city and as a rule of thumb visitors should not deign to visit the same restaurant, no matter how spectacular the food, twice.
