If you are interested in enchanting views and rambling day treks, take a ferry ride from the Chatham Jetty in Port Blair to Bamboo Flats. From there, take a walk or hire a cab to reach Mount Harriet National Park. And if you could make it to the sanctuary, Madhuban, the abode of nature’s beauty is not too far. Just be prepared to take your leisure time there seriously as it is one of the best tourist places in Port Blair.

Quietude at Radha Nagar Beach

Of all Port Blair beaches, the Radha Nagar Beach ranks high on our list of must-visit places. This charming beach is located on Havelock Island about 4 hour via ferry from Port Blair. Once you are there during spring time, you’ll know why we gave it a push. Attractions include the renowned white-sand beaches, lovely blue waters and peacefulness galore.

All-pervading bliss
Chidiya Tapu, a small hamlet about an hour-long drive from Port Blair, is thronged by various species of birds and bird watchers alike. Visit if you love the chirping of birds, watching beautiful sunsets, walking barefoot on clean sand, cooling off amidst lots of greenery. Chidiya Tapu blooms during spring; so that’s another reason to visit this place from February to April. Beware, however, of swimming in the waters as they are infested with a few crocodiles.

The beautiful blue waters of the beaches at Port Blair beckon water sports enthusiasts to take the plunge and have their fill. Barefoot Scuba Resort located on Havelock Island is the place for scuba diving lovers to be, no matter whether you are a beginner or a pro at it. For parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking and water-skiing, look for Andaman Water Sports Complex.
