Taiwan's first museum dedicated to contemporary art, this is where you'll find the new generation of artists with work ranging from multimedia installations and fashion to sculpture and performance - everything that could be considered avant grade.

Housed in a Japanese-era elementary school that later became Taipei's city hall, the museum features six sections of rotating exhibits from local and overseas artists. New exhibitions replace old ones every couple of months, and there is an interesting programme of live performances here, as well.
