With its dark wood interior, peeling mirrors and cauldrons hanging from the ceiling, entering Do Mori is a little like stepping back in time. Close to the Rialto market, it's popular with fisherman and market workers who come here to swap notes on the day's trade and spin tall tales to tourists.
The house prosecco is a real treat, commonly served from 10am onwards, and they do great cicchetti, too, which is inexpensive and tastier than what you'll find in the more touristy places. You'll be lucky to find anywhere to sit though, as this is a stand-up-with-the-regulars kind of place, but that's the attraction.
