A narrow street dating back to medieval times in the Raval neighbourhood, Calle Tallers is packed with small shops devoted to all things musical. Housing alternative CD and vinyl stores like Revolver and excellently stocked instrument shops, such as L’Art Guinardó, the street is a great place to browse for hard to find music or splash out on a Spanish guitar.
The street also has a wide selection of clothes and shoe shops that are worth checking out. Not all of them are great, but there are definitely some retro gems to be found in vintage clothing boutiques Retro City and Halulu Heiau. And for people who prefer their purchases edible, Calle Tallers has two other essential addresses - Barcelona's best Japanese food store and a fine ice cream parlour, Gelateria Tallers.
