A new study from the University of Technology in Sydney reveals that high doses of vitamin C can significantly reduce lung injury caused by PM2.5 particles. Researchers found that vitamin C supplementation mitigated inflammation, protected mitochondria, and improved survival rates in mice and human lung cells exposed to pollution.
