The aircraft was reportedly attempting to land at the Baramati airport when it crashed, killing all those on board. His demise also brings into doubt the future of the NCP.

An aircraft carrying Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar crashed in Pune district’s Baramati killing him and four others on board.

Two of Pawar’s staff and two crew were on board the aircraft, the country’s civil aviation regulator said.
