BMC elections are due soon. Both Senas are trying hard to pip BJP. But municipal polls see low turnouts. Is the apathy a distrust of the political class, or are voters tired of the politics of reheated history?

BMC, Asia’s richest city corporation, is expected to hold its much-delayed municipal elections soon. The elections were due in March 2022.
