From being one of party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s visible lieutenants, Raghav Chadha has demolished AAP in the Rajya Sabha and defected to the BJP with other party MPs
After a public battle of words with the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) leadership that stretched over weeks, party Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Friday announced that he and six other party MPs were switching sides to the BJP. Chadha was removed as the party’s deputy leader in the Upper House of Parliament on April 2. His successor to the position - Ashok Mittal - is among those who switched sides.
“I am the right man in the wrong party. I am moving away from the party(AAP) and going close to people," he told a press conference.
