Vijay’s entire campaign leading up to the elections has been on an anti-DMK plank. Calling it ‘a malign force’ (theeya sakthi) and TVK’s prime rival – he barely took the names of ADMK and BJP – Vijay swore ‘to rip apart the mask of the Dravidian model’ and expose the ‘real face’ of DMK.
