There is an ‘in-house procedure’ in place to probe allegations of misconduct and corruption against higher court judges. How does it work and who has the final say on such matters? Will it also be applicable to Justice Varma of the Delhi HC, in whose house burnt cash piles were allegedly found recently?



Around 11.30pm on March 14, a fire broke out at the official residence of Justice Yashwant Varma, a sitting judge of the Delhi High Court. The blaze, reported from a storeroom, was quickly extinguished by two fire tenders.
