The US Navy has clarified how the ‘blockade’ proposed by the President will be implemented and there’s potentially a lot of pain ahead for the Iranian and global economy.

After peace talks with Iran failed to yield any result, US President Donald Trump said the US Navy would “begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz." Oil prices - that fell after ceasefire and peace talks were announced - climbed nearly 7% on Monday after the US president’s announcement.
