As the conflict between US, Israel and Iran stretches into its second week, one uncomfortable truth becomes increasingly visible: this is not a single strike episode, but the opening phase of a sustained military campaign.

What began as calibrated coercion has evolved into a structured effort to alter strategic behaviour. The question is no longer whether force has been demonstrated. It is whether force can achieve the political end-state that Washington seeks.
