Why there is no NEET fix to the exam leak crisis

How often has the NEET paper been leaked? The honest answer, according to many in the coaching industry, is: No one really knows. The two brothers arrested from Rajasthan for their alleged involvement in the leak this year had announced on social media that five children from their family cleared NEET last year and got into govt medical colleges.
Did question papers get leaked last year, too? One cannot be sure. Sikar in Rajasthan, a coaching hub, was one of the centres where a large number of students scored very high marks in 2024 as well. Given that printing is outsourced to private presses, and question papers are then transported over thousands of kilometres to over 5,000 exam centres, experts believe it is entirely possible that question papers have leaked several times in the past, with the matter coming to light by accident only in some years.
